More sustainable caps for our dipslide product lines
We are now transitioning to new transparent cap colours across our dipslide product portfolio (Hygicult®, Easicult®, and Uricult® product lines) – a small visual change with meaningful environmental impact:
- Reduced use of plastic dyes
- Lower material waste
- More efficient and standardized manufacturing
- Less production downtime associated with colour changes
Same trusted performance, new cap appearance
The only noticeable difference for customers will be a slight visual change in cap appearance. This update does not affect agar stability, product performance, product functionality, shelf life, intended use, or product formulation.

Dipslide product lines
Easicult
Easicult dipslides are intended for monitoring microbiological contaminations in industrial environments. The test can be easily used on-site without any microbiological expertise and the slides can be used as convenient transport media if further analysis of the samples is needed.
Hygicult
Hygicult contact slides are intended for reliable and time saving on-site microbiological hygiene monitoring on surfaces. Hygicult slides can also be used as convenient transport media if further analysis of the samples is needed.
Uricult
Uricult dipslides are easy-to-perform bacterial culture tests for detection of urinary tract infections (UTI) in point-of-care settings. When needed, the Uricult slides can be used for transportation of the samples to a microbiology laboratory for incubation and interpretation. For veterinary use, Aidian offers the Uricult Vet dipslide test.
