Aidian is committed to responsible business conduct and strives to promote ethically approved practices, act ethically, and with good business practices. We take seriously any suspicions about potentially illegal or unethical practices and we encourage bringing these to our attention, whenever there are grounds for doing so. We strive to ensure that every Aidianee and our business partners always act in an ethical and sustainable manner.

Aidian expects and encourages its employees, suppliers, and other business partners to speak up and report incidents of non-compliance and suspected misconduct. Aidian commits to investigate all reports with due care.

What is Aidian’s Whisteblow channel? 

Aidian’s Whistleblow channel is a secure and confidential channel for reporting of suspected misconduct. The channel is externally hosted and maintained by an unaffiliated third party, and available for all Aidian’s internal and external stakeholders. The channel makes it possible to make a completely anonymous report if the whistleblower so wishes. All reports are handled confidentially and by an independent Whistleblow team, whose members are bound by non-disclosure agreements. 

What should be reported via Whistleblow channel?

Through this whistleblowing channel, you can report actions that are not in accordance with the law, Aidian’s internal policies or Code of Conduct, or actions that may otherwise harm individuals, Aidian or the environment. 

Examples of such actions include:  

  • Fraud
  • Theft
  • Corruption
  • Distorted financial reporting
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Human rights violations
  • Competition law
  • Violations of sanctions regulations or securities market regulations. 

Please note that complaints related to employment and other personnel matters (such as discrimination or inappropriate behaviour) should be addressed to supervisor or HR team in Aidian, not to the Whistleblow channel. In addition, urgent matters, such as situations that directly threaten the safety of employees or the environment, should not be reported through the Whistleblow channel.  

It is forbidden to report any information provided with the purpose of harming someone else, or that is intentionally false or unfounded. You do not need to have firm evidence of the wrongdoing before reporting it, but reports must be submitted honestly and in good faith. Reporting in bad faith may have legal consequences.

The reporter should also note that in the report made through the First Whistle channel, only information that is essential and necessary for the matter being reported should be reported. 

You can submit your report anonymously.   

How are the reports investigated? 

All reports are processed strictly confidentially according to Aidian’s processes. Access to Whistleblowing reports through the reporting channel is restricted to our impartial whistleblowing team. Each team member is bound by a non-disclosure agreement which states that all cases must be handled confidentially.  

All reports will be treated seriously. Upon receiving a report, the Whistleblowing team decides how to proceed with the report. Investigation methods and approaches to handling concerns shall be thorough and consistent, but proportionate and appropriate to the circumstances of the case. Additionally, the outcomes of the investigations shall be appropriate to the findings.

How are Whistleblowers protected?

All information provided by the reporter via Aidian’s Whistleblow channel will be treated in compliance with the EU Whistleblowing Directive (EU 2019/1937). Aidian does not tolerate any kind of retaliation against any person who, in good faith, reports suspected misconduct or participates in an investigation to resolve suspected misconduct. 

Confidentiality of all parties will be ensured.
