February 4th is World Cancer Day
Raising awareness for cancer
World Cancer Day, observed annually on February 4th, is an international awareness day aiming to raise awareness about cancer and encourage its prevention. The World Cancer Day 2025-2027 theme, “United by Unique,” reminds us that every cancer journey is unique and encourages us to see the individual behind every diagnosis.
On this World Cancer Day, we want to highlight the importance of accessible diagnostics and the critical role of early detection.

Colorectal cancer – the importance of early detection
Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer and the second most common cancer-related cause of death worldwide. Around 1.9 million colorectal cancer cases are diagnosed annually.1
Early detection can significantly increase the chance of survival, and screening programs have been shown to reduce both incidence and mortality.2
QuikRead go iFOBT – a point-of-care FIT test
