Welcome Torben Nielsen, our new CEO

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Torben Nielsen, as he started his role at Aidian. During a Town Hall meeting in Espoo, Torben introduced himself to the team and spoke about his vision for the future. He shared what drew him to Aidian, highlighting the meaningful mission in diagnostics, and shared his excitement about building the next chapter together.

Torben brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in global healthcare, diagnostics, and medical technology, having held senior executive roles at Radiometer, Envista Holdings, and Boule Diagnostics. With this extensive background, he brings valuable expertise and fresh perspectives to support our continued growth.
 

Jesper Mailind, Chair of the Board of Directors of Aidian, also shared his enthusiasm during the Town Hall, highlighting Torben’s strong professional background and international leadership experience. Jesper also expressed his appreciation for Antti Koivula’s dedication during his time as interim CEO and thanked the team for their support during the transition.
