New poster is published: QuikRead go HbA1c test fulfils the German quality requirements for laboratory measurements

The study was carried out in Germany and the results were presented by Dr. Thaler in a poster session at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Klinische Chemie und Laboratorioumsmedizin (DGKL) congress in Mannheim, Germany, on the 13th of October 2023.

As a result, we can announce that QuikRead go^® HbA1c test meets the RiliBÄK quality requirements for precision (<3%) and is a suitable test for use in the diagnosis of diabetes and the successful management of diabetic patients also in the future.

QuikRead go HbA1c is an in vitro diagnostic test for quantitative measurement of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) from a finger prick capillary blood or anticoagulated venous whole blood sample. The test result can be used in monitoring the long-term blood glucose control in individuals with diabetes mellitus, as an aid in diagnosis of diabetes, and in identifying patients at risk of developing diabetes mellitus.
