This combination of coronavirus, influenza and RSV infections simultaneously circulating has been referred to as “tripledemic”. It is difficult to differentiate these respiratory infections from each other based on symptoms only. Co-infection with SARS-CoV-2 and other viral respiratory pathogens is also possible.
