Aidian adds significant international diagnostics experience to its board of directors

Aidian is pleased to announce that Matthias Borst and Dr. Michael Hausmann have been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Both have more than 25 years’ experience from the in vitro diagnostics industry in various international settings.

Matthias Borst has held several commercial and management roles in companies such as Abbott and Becton Dickinson, and is now EVP and Chief Sales Officer at Kulzer. Previously Matthias has been President of the Trade Association of the Diagnostic Industry in Germany and since 2019 he is the Honorary Chairman of the Association.

Dr. Michael Hausmann holds a M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Biology and has throughout his career held R&D leadership positions in companies such as Abbott, bioMérieux and Thermo Fisher Scientific. He is now the Chief Technology Officer at the transfusion and clinical diagnostics company Quotient Limited.
